After a few days intensive use with several portions in succession I would add my review as follows:
Thermo housing:
from about 30 minutes. "Dauerebetrieb" The outer shell of the AM3021 is still well tangible, but insulate really does not do it really. For us, but just as acceptable, especially since we do not dislocate the fryer when it is in operation, etc ..

In any case, the device should always be preheated to 190C full, because there is always a Temeperaturabfall of about 30-40c (depending Gefrierguteigenschaft and quantity) when frozen.
Otherwise, we are very satisfied with handling and Ergebnnis nachwievor. Even the escaping steam is virtually odorless thanks to the odor filter.

There is a total of the third fryer in our long years running and this Moulinex AM3021 is currently replacing a 6 years old T ... l fryer similar design. In this respect, we were wondering what is to come, and especially curious about the direct comparison to our Vorgängerfritteuse.
First of all, the Moulinex AM3021 comes repackaged to clean through Amazon. Also, the company has for the carton fryer again an elaborate repackaging and allowed ever suggest that this is not a small Frittöschen.
This is confirmed then be unpacked and the obvious stately dimensions. The space is so schonmal significantly larger than our previous model!
The design not only looks at first glance from extremely noble and succeeded where we have to get used to the lower operating element actuator first. Frittierschüssel and basket are repackaged protected again. Internally we find the "User's Guide". We ourselves actually do not need, because we are used to dealing with fryers and what should it be new or special here? Still, we were curious what is "hidden" because of the other reviews here present behind this manual. In short, the wording "storybook" would surely accurately than manual. It's nice that "allegedly" is the frying basket dishwasher safe, but do your Teflon-coated frying pan around in the GS? We certainly did not. And before we can even advise against because certainly suffers the coating, or it becomes dull and no longer provides the desired effect. Well if you please which household fryer does that have nowadays not ??? The term thermal casing of the Fa. Moulinex really makes all the glory here, because of the internal heat, even with heating on max. 190C, you can tell from the outside practically nothing.
- Liftomatik: lifting and lowering of the basket with the lid closed:
A beautiful and especially meaningful thing. Especially since here the cover remains completely closed! However, the Liftomatik the frying basket grinds with us under one side strongly to the frying basket coating. The question arises, how long the coating which participates well? I tried the basket then slightly bend the center, but what brings nix. The mechanics are simply too unstable. As much there is need for improvement on the part of the manufacturer!
- Large front panel with elegant stainless steel cover, ergonomically designed:
Looks great and is ergonomically well.
- Adjustable thermostat with temperature warning light:
Good, useful, there is more to already not to say!
- On / Off switch:
A good thing, because that was our predecessors fryer (and many current competitive models) do not and so there is no need the constant consuming plugs of the mains plug.
- Lockable, abnehmbarerer lid with large viewing window:
Theoretically well, practically unhelpful because the portlight either fogged or sometimes slightly splattered with grease. Pommes we make for example "at sight" and there's the use "mikrige" little window slightly. We then make the fryer to halt, and then look at high-basket's fried. In spite of this "complaint" for us but no devaluation reason!
- Automatic lid opening:
Is good and works for our good!
- Ecotherm: highly efficient, welded to the inner tank heater for direct heat transfer: energy savings and optimal results:
For us this is one of the major advantages because the fryer is on a fast on Betriebstemeperatur, but more importantly, with frosted frozen the AM3021 is again reheated retreat and has not long to deal with a drop in temperature as our previous model. This is also primarily the fried food to good, for the Frittierergebnisse are significantly better than in our previous T ... l.
- Color: White, light gray, stainless steel:
Already looks chic, especially with stainless steel trims. Truly a successful overall design

Technically, proper values and first we were skeptical whether the AM3021 really comes with "only" 1,800 Watt on tours, but just because of the heating described above, maybe missing 100-200 Watt are compensated at competitive models again, or even exceeded. Capacity fat and fried food is also slightly higher than the ordinary. Thus one gets for a 3-person household, sometimes even ordinary portions together!
Conclusion:
When Moulinex AM3021 is a bit larger than usual thermally insulated Haushaltsfritteuse with a pleasing design.
Performance, operation and Frittierergebnisse We were absolutely convinced! For our part, we complain about the unnecessary timer and the unstable rack guide / Liftomatik. The value for money is in the context of the currently prevailing "offer price" significantly below market price still reasonable.
We get the Moulinex AM3021 total of 4 star! (Deducting 1 star for Timer & labile Liftomatik)
As the fryer in continuous use suggests I will update as needed.
