Large, easy, sharp ...

... Something like that could describe the Piston in a nutshell. A true workhorse of the range of Kershaw does nothing wrong, the quasi.

The blade is about 3mm rather slim, which is also reflected in the fine cutting angle.
Technically size the knife is with 21.6cm total length (8.9 cm blade) somewhat (2cm) above the Spyderco Tenacious, but still well below the Resilience and thus is a fairly handsome Folder.
The handle is made of G10 medium, large (and what kind of people with size 12), grip and is excellent in hand. In addition to the finger recess also prevents the pinball "hook" slipping effectively.
The spring-assisted Flipper mechanism works properly every time and raises the blade almost balancing out what you can hear on the rich clunk when engaging the liner locks. In principle, the liner lock is here a somewhat modified form of the frame-lock, because the liner is not continuous piece, which is virtually built into the G10 - funktionniert properly and results in addition to the weight savings to a very slim for the sizer.
Other pluses are the all-around top functionality -keinerlei Blade game, middle centering of the blade, clip 4x umsetbar, handy thumb-Pins, at the end of the handle Hidden eyelet for lanyard etc ....
The only room for improvement worthy point: no Jimping - but heck ....
Fatit: Good As It Gets - the Folder Kershaw is what delivers here simply for those who want to put on robustness together with low weight and excellent functionality and great value to take any unnecessary compromises.
Given what is in the finger gets here priced (79, - at outdoor knives) again a Kershaw-typical overachiever - also in relation to the candidate competing products by example Zero Tlerance, Spyderco, Benchmade, Cold Steel, FKMD etc ...
