I'm using close-up lens 77mm 500 D on Canon 100-400 L and with adapter to the Tamron 70-300mm Macro. The picture quality is with two lenses mE very good, the lens is easy to take in the camera bag a small space and a light loss is not given as opposed to intermediate rings. The autofocus is available without restriction. When 100-400 mm the original sun visor can be used. When 70-300 mm which is due to the step-up - no adapter. I've bought a sun visor with screw thread. By 100-400 mm I reach a magnification of ~ 0.8, the 70-300 mm it is well above 1 :. An accurate determination I have not yet managed. With intermediate Rigen is not possible. A worthwhile purchase. The only drawback: ME (unlike other reviews), the screwing of the close-up lens takes (remove the visor, Screw close-up lens, attach sun visor) longer than the insertion of spacer rings, because no screw, but bayonet sockets are used.
