This development seems to have walked past the Irish Knödler somehow. And that's what makes INTO THE MUSIC pretty good. Because the recording might as well be today. Looking back today on this panel, you can see that Van Morrison has significantly turned towards the music. And a bit of INTO THE MYSTIC turns. He does this in conjunction with his musicians quite well. A few of the songs are still classics today. BRIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD and FULLFORCE GALE often gecoverte songs. AND THE HEALING HAS BEGUN is my personal favorite. An indigenous production.
Certainly one of the most important albums of Grant Jewellers, certainly one of his best. But not the best (that's my opinion THE HEALING GAME).
Just funny that after much to-earth the following album COMMON ONE (1980) again slightly lifted more mystical.
Whether the 2008 remaster sounds better now than in 1998 appeared Remaster, I can not hear with my conditioning. I'm the "Loudness War" Talk a little on the cookie. The expert is pleased about two things: the plate is available for a good price, and there are two bonus tracks.
Conclusion: the new Remasters are worthwhile, both for the connoisseur and the beginner. But who has the 1998 remaster of INTO THE MUSIC already, have to think for yourself whether the issue for two bonus pieces worth. Technically sound here in my opinion was harmed little.
