Less concept album, more song collection

Between the milestones "There Goes Rhymin 'Simon" and "One Trick Pony" this album is actually just in time. Besides the well known singles that helped him to Grammy, there are two ballads that give this board its effect: "I Do It For Your Love" and "You're a child," which in their peculiar mix between knowledge and slightly bitter melancholy strike after two / three times listening. Not so much for the beginner in 70s-Simon - these should start with "Rhymin 'Simon'. On the other hand ... the saxophone solo of "Still Crazy ..." ---
