I've bought two of these batteries in June 2011. I've assumed that the acceptable rating and the slightly higher price can be compared to other replicas close to a good product. Meanwhile, I'm smarter. One of the two batteries (it does not have 10 charging cycles in the original Canon charger behind him) is now Werder yet recognized or accepted by the camera from the charger. I go from a defect of the internal electronics, or defective battery cells. Why is it is ultimately irrelevant - I can use any batteries that no longer work after six months. I expect a corresponding quality and above all reliability. Maybe I should not say anything when the battery would by held for one year - but seven months are simply not acceptable. Even a "regrettable individual case" seems to me not really be suitable here as an excuse - the manufacturer promises in the product description and on its website a Höstmaß of performance and quality. Both he can not comply with obviously. Too bad. And if you read the other reviews here, the phenomenon described seems to be not a rarity indeed. First wonderful but over after a few months. So I'll have to continue to purchase the wildly overpriced original batteries - of which curiously I've never a "dead" ...
