The lamp makes a white light which does not drift into the blue. There are three stages which are switched through the switch on the back side: 1) Full power 1.5A (measured) 2) Less power 0.4A (measured) 0.8A 3) strobe at full power (measured) At the highest level the lamp is not as bright as for example the "1200LM bicycle light CREE XML U2 LED Bike Bicycle Headlamp 6 modes + holder", but still quite bright. It is in operation although quite warm, but can be used without problems a long time anyway. In stage 2 still sufficiently bright, but much less warm, so even long-term-compatible. Strirnband I've never used, so can not comment on it. Conclusion: Light bulb that you can start sometimes longer.
