Actual power consumption
Indicated is the product by the manufacturer with a consumption of 7 watts. The past has shown, at least with me, that more Wättchen Shares will be used by the built-in electronics and the actual consumption is usually a little bit about the details. As already Lighting EVER 3W G45 E27 LED bulb in my measurements in section 0.2 watts consumed less than the manufacturer has indicated, I was curious especially when actual power consumption of the lamp. Was measured by an EM600 (not calibrated). To my surprise, the lamp never consumes more than 6 watts constant with my measurements. This LED lamp is therefore as much as 1 watt low in consumption, as the manufacturer has specified.
At first I assumed a misdelivery. No, it was delivered the 7 watt version. Also the meter is not defective as I have checked immediately after with other known consumers.
This lamp actually consumes significantly less power than expected.
Light efficiency
The old lamp in the kitchen light is a 60 Watt light bulb Clear. After changing to the Lighting Ever this has given 7 but with actual 6 watts more luminosity than the old. There is a lot brighter. The light is not really warm white, but compared to other LED lamps really close. However, this is a subjective impression of me, because I can not measure the light heat lack equipment.
The indication of the average lamp life of 50,000 hours I regard as very confident and far more than a conventional light bulb old. With a 24-hour continuous operation which is almost 6 years. In realistic operating as kitchen light with perhaps close to 2 hours per day that are about 68 years. Accordingly, I would survive the lamp at my current age :-)) These lamp shall have to inherit most likely (my grandson).
