Have compared a 2.6W from the supermarket - this one has a much whiter, colder light. For home lighting less beautiful - as a task light not bad. AC flickering more pronounced than in the comparative LED - this one takes during rapid eye / head movements true. Have the impression that this 5W lamp twice the luminosity of 2.6W would not, for the intended use hands me the brightness.
Big plus is the very low for a G9 lamp cluster size. The light heats up only slightly.
