Because Logitech has really thought along time !!! On the one hand the state is Lepdesk Federleicht, is very soft on the legs and the heat may escape through a hole below the Lepdesk stands. The workmanship is very good !!! So if a lot while sitting with his laptop working, I can put this Logitech product only warmly recommend !!! Incidentally, i owned a HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook 1199eg (17 ") and it fits perfectly on the Logitech Lepdesk stand !!!
