Lightweight pretty Chromebook, unfortunately far too little power.

When I decided to zuzulegen a Chromebook, I have wavered between the HP Chromebook 11 and the Acer C720. After the HP11 was gone due to overheating of the trade, I've bought a Acer, my curiosity but could not suppress and so I have also ordered the HP11 in the hope that it can replace the Acer may.

Short and sweet: the by peeling did not really work.

The HP11 is light, beautiful to look at, is amazingly well made and ... well, it's as close to a perfect Chromebook how to be just. The situation is similar with the keyboard: it is processed wonderful, it can be easily and tapping while typing even you are sure that this keyboard rather on a 800 Premium Notebook as part of this little white thing. The Chromebook is also absolutely silent because it has no fan.

The performance is underground and, unfortunately, absolutely out of proportion to the premium appearance of Chromebooks even Youtube videos in Full HD stutter moderate to strong sides build up slowly (slowly is here: you press Enter, and before the actual page begins to load, wait about 5-10 seconds, rendering the said page again takes good 5-10 seconds; this refers to moderate to complex sites), Flash Games, which are the main source of entertainment of Chromebooks, run often in slow motion, to create a Google Docs document takes a long time and the tap running until liquid after a while. What is Google and HP have thought at the internal hardware, me is a real mystery, because if I have the Chromebook in front of me, I could almost cry. Should you on the concept 'Chromebook' be interested to find this Acer C720 or available in a few weeks C720P (there is even a touch screen installed); that you may be much better served.

Edit (4.3.14): Today I noticed for the first time, that the price has fallen by 20. That changes my general criticism of the Chromebook itself is not, but the more the price of C720 and closer HP11, the choice is increasingly becoming a decision rather than a must-taste of the C720. Reason: the HP11 is initially much more expensive than starting the C720 and has (unfortunately) only aesthetic advantages to offer, which does not just justify the higher price; the C720 is, in my opinion, still the better Chromebook for normal users, thoroughbred aesthetes would then no longer have to pay much more so outrageous, what would be welcomed.
