In Spec Ops: The Line, the second part of the name can be taken literally, because that's so linear, it goes through the game. What I personally do not find disturbing because:
+ The story could very well fit in a movie
+ It was visually very good law in scene (a few bad textures excluded)
+ The characters that you feel so much "character" have with them
+ It is not only senseless banging, but was also peppered with tactical aspects (though not enough)
+ The scripted events were well placed
+ It is not only back the "oh so great America" shows
But what is a bit clouded:
-The I needed as casual gamers have less than 8 hours to make it through to play (was already in Mafia II above)
-The repeat the movements very often (but is also positive to see, as you learned it quickly and at any speed quickly in the game can)
Who then makes the game even more with the Xbox gamepad has a little more game-fun because the movements are simply designed for console. This can be seen clearly.
Conclusion:
Depth "horrors of war" story that was well staged.
Good idea and well implemented. Best Buy from me.
