Here is a small list of defects which are noticed so viell are helpful in the purchasing decision of one or another.:
The Structure:
The entire structure is made of plastic and is really built very shaky. The screw with the help of the mobile to be attached to the crib is very ill-conceived. The developer 'or to put it better' designer 'because I now doubt the case that an engineer has seen' has come up with this, does not have as much knowledge of the matter. The screw is placed too far down, so the focus is misplaced and the Mobile overhangs. Luckily the little girl does not come at the Mobile zoom 'even a little tighter and pull on it, it would break down and break.
The 'sweet bear':
Yes, in fact, these packed in astronaut clothing little bears with wings (oO) are really cute, but: Check out the Mobile times from a child's perspective on! The Bears do not look down, to look at the child but paying parents who are right next to your mobile. The child looks at only the boring stomachs of animals.
The Light:
So that was the main reason for my purchase. I wanted to project beautiful butterflies on the ceiling, because I think that's going to sleep just beautiful.
Well, now and then you can see actually the odd butterfly on the ceiling or on the wall. The rest are more 'we call it' light blobs'. In addition, only a tiny little part of the ceiling or the wall is irradiated so that it anyway does not make nice effect.
Very very unfortunate, I had hoped for better.
The Motor:
This is in my opinion the worst thing about the device. If one were to measure the decibels times of the motor, one would imagine that thing has to pull in front of a tractor. oO
The engine is really disturbingly loud. As long as the music is turned on, the engine noise falls not so bad on (or I have !? already accustomed myself) 'but if you (just go to sleep very practical) turns on only the mobile and omits the music, you can hear permanently this romantic and soothing, loud 'gschgschgschgsch' '
The buttons:
So it is also evident that this never came at the hands of an engineer:
To adjust the music and the volume there are a few buttons that also function as far. Then there is a switch with which you can adjust the volume in 2 stages and therefore fully exhibit the music, the order is as follows:

At some point I decided to get me then Eneloops with D adapters. That was utterly pointless. No sooner were the freshly charged batteries in it, the Mobile was 5 to 7 times and was then already at 'babbling' '
The procedure to change the batteries is quite complicated:
if you hang it on the crib you have to unscrew the 6 screws before you can change the batteries.
It surprises me a little that Fisher Price here 'oh so very' safety pays, in other words that the child just does not come to the terribly dangerous giant D-cells that could throw it under circumstances of the darkened nursery coming Mama's head.
At the same time hang the bears and butterflies which are located on top of the Mobile in unstable plastic stick that could be canceled with a slight handle and end up in the worst case in the eye of the child (if it then plays with it).
So the fumbling with the batteries they can be saved with the device.
At that age, by a mobile for children is interesting, would have a simpler closing mechanism fully extended right 'or a few screws. So cleverly have children at that age is not that to take everything apart.
I find Fisher Price should be really ashamed of this product! Since I am Mom, I am anyway strayed from Fisher Price. I think you can see in all products where and for how much money they were prepared (see, eg. As the 'sweet rubber duck in the ball') and for how much money they are then brought to the man. Again you can see that the company is not at all comes to delight children and parents, but to the highest possible margins. Surely that is all business this way, but so bold as Fisher Price which also shows, by bringing extremely bad products at inflated prices on the market, I do not too much of a good thing.
Conclusion:
Superficially it looks very cute, but on closer examination it is totally impractical, designed more for the parents than for the child and totally overpriced for this poor quality.
Prefer buying a wooden Mobile and sing your child a bedtime song before, about it would be certainly much more than about engine noise and flying bear bellies. ; )
