First, there are a lot of characters and it is difficult at first to remember which is which, especially as the names and tribes of each are hard to remember.
The story is also long to implement. Not until the end of the call for the pursuit of these twelve elected last start.
Furthermore the authors do not really involve us in an exotic decor. I found that there was not enough narrative richness in the created universe. Dystopia is too light for my taste.
Fortunately the chapters are short and ventilated. The writing is lively and fairly easy. There are a lot of dialogue and it is very visual. The set is quite violent and some sexuality dusted everything.
Otherwise the book is beautiful, it is a beautiful object. The cover is gilded and embossed. It reminds me a little book of "The Neverending Story."
In parallel, there is a treasure hunt set up by the authors which $ 500,000 are up for grabs in gold coins. Indeed through the pages, you can see drawings, maps, figures, quotes that lead to a big puzzle. I admit that I leave to others because it looks damn hard!
But I think it's a good idea because it brings spice to the book and stands out.
In conclusion, "Endgame" despite some flaws holds the road, it makes a good time.
Curiosity certainly push me to read the two suites provided ...
I recommend it to fans of the genre.
