How disappointing. Nevermind content (all the book written analyzes are not equal) to focus us on the form. Shame on the editor and the Musée d'Orsay for daring to publish this catalog in the state. The layout is unworthy of such an institution, it looks like an unfinished copy job. Paging, font and text size are inappropriate and not in the least popular or reflected world. The illustrations of works are not even centered on the page (a minimum).
No trace of aesthetics in this book whose theme lent it yet. Shoddy work !!! We were right to expect a more polished and less hazardous work. Would recommend only as 'witness' of the exhibition but with great reserve.
I bought the Vienna exhibition catalog to compare ... To see.
