Logitech Mini Boombox:
Very small device with very good sound. The box is really very tiny. From the volume is minimal quieter than the D100. In the bass range but then lack of pressure.
But it's very impressive what comes out of the box.
Creative D100:
The box is about 6 times as large as the Mini Boombox. Therefore, it is bass-heavy as the two competitors. Sonically, the box is also very good. At medium volume but you hardly notice a difference between D100 and Mini Boombox. At higher Laustärken but clearly wins the D100.
Compared to the other two, it has no built-in battery. It is equipped with 4x AA batteries. I personally prefer this solution because I can use my eneloop batteries here. If you are traveling, you just can the battery / batteries and change does not have to only charge the box again.
Drawback is that the box has no guard in front of the speakers, but only a substance that can break easily during transport.
Conclusion:
I have long hesitated between Mini Boombox and D100. Both are really great. I want to use, for example, the box barbecue in the garden, where they sometimes also can be 8m away. Therefore I have decided for the D100, since the more rounded sound in the long run is more pleasant. Also speaking, the bass-heavy, the farther reaches of the sound. Without bass the high frequencies already disappear after a few meters.
Go I'd definitely prefer the Mini Boombox, because here the sound is great and the minimum size is simply a huge advantage.
