As a longtime reader of Honor Harrington series I was seriously disappointed with this band. Especially since I have expected a bit more intense story to the last volumes. Most, however, are discussions of leaders of the Solar League. It is certainly interesting to see the mindset of local leaders. But words carpet is not helpful, but enticed to read on. Where Weber has previously described each downed torpedo, it can now endless dialogues that fill pages. Also, I find the resolution of the attack of the Solar league as read artisanal botch. One might think that David Weber believes his Harrington fans take it all with joy, and he can earn a lot with thick books. In my view, the content would fit on 200 pages. Allen, who do not have this book, I recommend to the favorable paperback version to wait. Even if you completely waived, that's not too bad. I just hope that Mr. Weber again invested a little more brain power instead of finger muscles (or hot air for voice input). The potential for sequels is great.
