Yes, after I had read some reviews here my expectations were in the basement. Somehow the fourth part to be a full failure and I have very long hesitated until I bought the game. Wrongly so, as I have to say now after 33 hours of play. Although the game quite a few weaknesses which (the people in the game say almost all always the same), and many provide lightweight head shaking (re windows break during re getting out of the apartment - annoying), the Thief, it is once again the successful atmosphere to can be what it is: an exciting Schleicher with successful story and many little things that need to be discovered (and there are viiiiiele). Certainly, a OpenWorld we have not, but the game offers enough opportunities to move on "limited" space free and find optional routes to the destination. The Map and its whole chapters are large enough for it. Heartbeat moments there (as in the previous games) to satisfy, especially when the master thief descends into the catacombs in the brothel or makes its way through the institution. To move through the shadows, waylay moments to strike from hiding and under time pressure locks to crack have always been key issues in the Games, which are also in part 4 for supporting and especially in a pitch-dark room with surround sound so much fun make. Friends of direct action, rather give the other to the folder rather than to sneak past them is the game is not recommended - the master thief is not offensive fighter, but skilled with the dark and so many resources available to distraction. So if you enjoy it, to move through the shade and a hidden kleptomaniac compulsion finally wants to make air, the Thief is warmly recommended. Different levels of difficulty make the game even for beginners to experience. Conclusion: Dark, atmospheric, exciting, succeeded - even if it has small hooks.
