The matte finish of the metal casing looks classy and extremely high quality, in short, the designers have done their job well. The annexed guide is not really necessary for operation, but it makes a newspaper honor once it is unfolded. By pressing the single button on the unit it is turned on, a green LED lights up when a connected device is charged. At the same time the state of charge is indicated by flashing a second orange LED. The USB port can connect the cable of the desired terminal to load this. I welcome that one does not need a separate charger, as for example when Belkin Battery Pack (2000 mAh 4000-2x) incl. Micro / Mini USB cable 15cm. The battery pack itself can be charged via microUSB namely with the included cable to any PC, but this takes a long time. It is faster with a mobile phone charger, which may but have no more than 1.0A output current. My Xperia Z1 has a built-in battery with 3000mAh capacity, I could invite him exactly once with the battery pack, then this was only a quarter full, which indicates the orange LED by flashing at your fingertips. Unfortunately, when my wife Nexus 4 (2100mAh) showed the same picture; here I would have expected that a second charging is possible. However, the battery charger has not switched off the Nexus, as this was fully charged and the night was turned on; possibly this was the cause. If current cell phones but allow only one charge, the battery charger for a few days or even a week is designed simply too weak without electricity from the socket. In this I see, however, the real meaning of such a device; order also without electricity in hiking etc. not having to do without the beloved phone. For older phones / MP3 players etc. the power may be sufficient, but must usually already rare at the outlet. To make matters worse, that for less than half price already Chargers with twice the capacity are available that can load even two devices at the same time, if desired. However, like the Sony CP-F5B mostly do not look as pretty.
