Processing:
Visually well finished. Gaps are small and uniform. Even if you take it in your hand it feels quite well and looks pretty dibasic. If you, however a little pressed here and there, it crunches a little part of what the overall impression slightly tarnishes. Also with me is already the NFC stickers come off, but that did not bother me.

All in all I would still give this 4 out of 5 stars.

Software:
On my phone was already installed Ice Cream Sandwich and it runs so far without any problems and very fluid. The mobile phone has already been delivered with some applications. Some of them I could use, but others do not, so I wanted to uninstall the programs that I do not need. But this was not all applications without problems possible. Since I do not like Facebook, I wanted to banish even the software from my phone. But without further ado this is not possible. Why on earth not? Why do I have to deal with restrictions, which have a purely corporate political background myself on my property? Would there be a version of the phone, where no Facebook would it installed, I would be happy but for a few euros more to spend such a version of the phone seems well not to give. I have the software then still can banish per root access from my phone to access these but will void the warranty.

Camera:
For a cell phone, a really very good camera. When I compare the camera with my Nikon D700 DSLR, you will not get around the fact that both cameras have the same resolution. However, the results are (surprise, surprise) not comparable. As long as there is light and daylight is available, the recordings can be quite impressive. Nothing that I would leave of imaging me to hang it on the wall, but what you would expect even from a mobile phone camera? Once only room lighting is available you can still make really good pictures, but moving objects should avoid it because of the built-LED flash is not one of the brightest. Because you could wish for then again a shoe mount as in the Sony Ericson K750i back. But my expectations are mainly hold memories, when I have no camera at hand. With memories but it seems to me not so much on the quality. Rather, it seems to me a matter of a moment to note what I then also can call in years. Here it is enough if you can see everything and everyone, what the Xperia Acro S very well get back into my eyes. Always with you and you can take good pictures with it. Thanks hardware camera shutter can even underwater (because water proof) and wearing gloves to take pictures. Especially in winter or on the ski slopes, it is good if you do not have to only take off the gloves to time to make up a picture. A press of the shutter, the camera app opens and you can immediately shoot a photo.

I would give the camera 5 of 5 stars.

Call:
Hard to believe, but you can make calls with the device also. The size of the phone is in my eyes an advantage. It fits comfortably in your hand and you can understand the other party clearly. Unfortunately, it still has not seen Sony that it would be helpful to be able to sort the entries in the address book also by last name. This disadvantage is however made by, I think, intelligent search function for it. Here you need on the telephone keypad (Keypad) just like T9 typing, for example 685 537 and you get in the top of the display all contacts displayed Müller hot, or have this combination of numbers in the phone number. So I hardly use my phone book but just looking quickly after contact.

Battery:
Unfortunately, more and more mobile phone manufacturers have to be carried away to obstruct the battery firmly. But this has the disadvantage that you no longer can readily replace a battery, which is weakened by the aging process with a new, "fresh" so battery. I therefore assume that the phone must be in no later than three years replaced by a new phone, because such a repair is no longer determined worthwhile. Another disadvantage is in my eyes the fact that special requirements are placed on the charger the Acro S. Anyway, I can with older Micro USB chargers phone load very slowly. Even the existing charger in your car seems Sony mobile no longer want to invite reasonable and with switched navigation and Bluetooth mobile phone, it gradually changes from the juice. Therefore, one must probably times again new Chargers pick, which are able to load the new phone also. The endurance is average in my opinion. If you frequently for this and that used to get well on the day and if you make rather little so that it is determined to keep well for two days. Features:
Thanks to the IP 57 classification, the phone can sometimes be taken with in the pool. When it comes to wireless connections the unit has almost everything to offer what you can imagine right now. LTE is not there, which I also (still) do without. Thanks Ant + you can connect all kinds of sports sensors with the phone and, for example using a heart rate belt. Sure, there are the well in Bluetooth (BT), but BT firstly has the disadvantage that it attracts quite well most precious good of phones (the battery) and you can not parallel connect several sensors over and in addition use another BT handsfree. Therefore, I find it really great that I Garmin sensors (bike cadence and heart rate belt) can use my. Micro SD card slot is also available and a 64GB micro SD card has also been recognized and formatted by the device itself.

Conclusion:
Even if one or the other point of criticism came to light here, I would buy this phone again at any time. The equipment for the price it has to offer more than any other cell phone. For the listed negative points there are alternative solutions such as the rooting of the phone or the purchase of an additional battery, which you can connect via cable to the phone.
