A summary pending the Amazon to update: When the pretty hairdresser Delaney Shaw returns to a Truly hometown for the reading of the will of her stepfather, she intends to leave immediately appointment ended but the will has unexpected clauses: if Delaney wants to inherit, she must remain a year Truly otherwise his legacy will return to Nick Allegrezza, the illegitimate son of her stepfather Meanwhile, Nick inherit land for construction if it takes the commitment not to touch it for a year, or she will inherit his property.
These commitments are not so simple: in fact ten years ago, Nick Delaney had seduced seducer but his reputation and status as bastard mayor had separated. Delaney had thus fled his hometown, Nick, his tyrannical stepfather and his intrusive mother and she does not want to move back to Truly.
The reunion between Nick and Delaney are explosive and their attraction is always present.
I really enjoyed this book. Delaney is a modern woman, trendy, fun enough. Nick is a wounded man, sexy, seductive, humorous. The relationship between the two characters are tasty, passionate, amusing and sometimes naughty.
Even if the last part of the novel seemed to me a bit hasty and I would have liked more development, I enjoyed the story and characters.
I could not win!
