I do not know how one can properly describe the 50-200 provides a picture quality that 'little bit extra' has. The objects that you have scans clear outlines, the courses are absolutely uniform and homogeneous. The individual parts of the image look very rich in contrast and every detail is visible.
The other way round you could say, nothing will vermatscht or veiled. The picture quality is simply excellent. I know that impression only from 14-54, which has 12-60 eg not quite this quality, in my opinion. But this is perhaps also personal taste. That should any / r own judge.
I had previously images taken with the 50-200 seen, so was the 'will-have' effect only getting bigger. Now I have it and know exactly this lens I do not give her back. Especially in tandem with the E-M1 provides the 50-200 outstanding results which I am really looking. It's just fun to later view these pictures.
The lens works in spite of the size and weight (995 g) and to a camera like the E-M1. The tripod mount ring the way you can also deduct backwards and so then save a little weight unless they are not needed.
I have a 50-200 with lens hood and the lens comes in a solid, black fabric carrying case with two juxtaposed zippers and Velcro, the bag has to have a conveyor belt, to hang around the shoulder.
Conclusion: An absolutely great lens for the FT system. This is not a MFT and thus the guidelines do not apply.

PS: I'm doing this so not normally and I do not know me so well made, as I watched for decades only Olympus cameras since the OM-2 use but I have times when Canon for a comparable lens and the Canon EF 100-400mm L here IS USM lens (77mm filter thread) found. I do not know the lens, so I write nothing to give but once the recommendation, to compare the data and the price.
