Makes my repeater unemployed

I bought the TP-LINK WPA4220Kit to connect my TV no longer via wireless LAN to the Internet as max cathedrals & Co. In HD transmissions my WiFi was fast at the limit. And since I wanted to put any 20 meter network cable through the apartment, the use of this powerline adapter was very interesting. I opted for the adapter from TP-Link, for example because the Devolo adapters acc. To make recessions in some loud noises. That's a No, of course!

But who wants to integrate this adapter into an existing network with routers, servers and any repeater, should allow extra time as. Because even to change the default IP address of this adapter meant for me at least, that I had to connect the adapter once directly on the laptop. Quickly changed manually on laptop the network address to 192.169.1.2 and then access the adapter (name and password are "admin"). There you can set the network address and subnet mask freely and then paste it (after restarting) into the existing network. That with the WiFi-clone button I did not understand either, or the thing does not work for me (also). Since I was not a problem my networks but also like to own hiring.

This kit is small, simple and fast. My Repeater is made redundant by the WiFi function. Who filter also functions as MAC addresses and port clearances is worth, is served here. For changing the IP address and set up you should already allow one hour. I am very enthusiastic and can really recommend it.

Unfortunately, the machine refused the service after a few days with me. If once the data connection they work fairly well as long as you then neither tries to go to the menu or turns off the evening, for example. But for energy reasons, I also see the 24-hour operation is not a just because the adapter to "reconnect" not proficient technically sound. If I fall asleep, my devices do not need a network. Really a pity, so therefore my Netgear repeater must ran again. He's not quite as fast but it 100% reliable. So I sent the adapter back.
