We were then lent me a YUV / VGA adapter so I could plug it into my PC, but unfortunately the outputs were the wrong way (YUV and VGA male female, link Hama - 43186 - Connectors - VGA adapter female / 3 Male RCA (YUV)). With 3 RCA female / female adapters; link (APM - 1 Adapter RCA Female / RCA Female 1 - Adapt - Gold) and a conventional VGA cable, I managed to connect the PS2 on my screen .... but I did not have a picture :(
So I thought that this cable was only compatible with PS3 and I was ready to abandon this madness when I had an idea !!!
I then used the classic RCA cable (yellow / red / white) and I plugged my Freebox V5 (connected via HDMI), and there I was able to have a picture. By cons, do not expect to play with the Freebox, there is a lag of 1 to 3 seconds between the time you press the joystick and the time it takes effect (so unplayable). However, it allowed me to set the video output of my Playstation 2; I had the choice between RGB and Y Pb Pr (memory because I remember exactly) and so I chose the second.
After the cable change, I tested and OH! Surprise !!! I had a picture (even if I did not believe too by searching various forums).
I am very happy with my purchase because everything works especially considering the price of my investment for cable (6). By cons, they are PS2 graphics, do not expect miracles ...: p
