Most
- Manufacturing quality
- Implementation very simple and very fast
- Versatile and extensible
- Very insensitive to interference system (frequency 866MHz), and therefore no false alarms as is too often the case with Chinese product design!
LEAST
- Price overrated, even if the quality at a price ...
- Additional items (mainly infrared detectors) should have been treated as they turn yellow uv quickly ESPECIALLY if direct sunlight! FRIEDLAND Why has he passed on this treatment yet cheap and CRUCIAL ???
- The push button very intolerant ambient humidity and even more so direct rain. It is therefore imperative to protect the maximum, or as recommended by the manufacturer BY, install it inside!
For those who might be interested ...
Alarm installer for years, I can assure you that there is NO infrared sensor insensitive to even small animals. Only marketing and nothing more! Indeed ONLY photoelectric sensors (detection on a single horizontal plane) installed in workmanlike will eliminate 95% of false alarms!
A few "tips" if you want chafe maximum tripping due to pets (or not) ...
1) Install the detector at a height of about 1 meter.
2) Please ensure that the sensor head is ALWAYS parallel to the ground.
3) Hide the LOWER half of the fresnel lens with adhesive tape OPAQUE.
4) Avoid pointing the detector to sources of interference (sun, moving trees, light reverb, moving heat sources, etc).
5) To ensure both reliability and durability, place a small awning made "home" above the detector that will keep him safe from the elements (rain, wind, frost, sun).
Note: All alkaline batteries suffer from self-discharge (even if they are not used), but it is especially true at low temperatures that accelerate this phenomenon DRASTICALLY!
Hoping to have brought my building block ...
