Many improvements - but no big game

Since "Fifa 2007" I personally have no football simulation EA Sports more touched (except one (!) Game of "Fifa 09"), which is why I rate "Fifa 10" not on the basis of its predecessor, but rather from the perspective of a beginner or PES Player (have recently intensively "PES 2009" gambled).

First of all have to hold you that Fifa now is not a pure arcade game more, as was the case a few years ago. Overall mighty has done in the gameplay. The really good animations give already partly the feeling that you can see a real football game. The movements are very variable and realistic, especially on the defensive, making the game fun but significantly raises. The two-warfare has become much more intense (Critics say that there would be too many duels - which is hard to deny). What applies in the field of positive Torverhinderung, is not to say for quite offensive. "Fifa" has unfortunately always agreed in the past that the gates were very identical and have been achieved almost exclusively by strikers. To my regret, this has not really changed. Who wants to see also Long Shots, poking gates, a deflected balls, actions of defenders, etc. behind the line, is better off with the "PES" series still. Playful praise the referee as the game of EA is clearly the leader. We come to the next point of criticism: the graphics. Original face textures there are far too few, numerous stars have to do without. The acoustic accompaniment of the games I like less. The goal celebrations are OK, but during the action the audience is too quiet and just when missed chances, there is often almost no or no emotions of the audience. While there are nice little things like mocking applause, if the away team plays the ball unnecessarily wide, but in goal scenes it must leave an audio output, and the missing "Fifa 10".

The game modes are not very significant. Besides the neatly converted Manager Mode with many new features, there is the boring "Be a Pro" mode, which I could not get anything, however, already in "PES 2009". The editor is in contrast to the competition very weak and the players will probably bring back to to buy the successor - as always!
The ability to unlock trophies is given, but there are way too many linked to the online mode.

Incidentally: against the computer, the game is quite fast from my monotonous listed points and demotivating. But to my regret, it also brings a human opponent marginally more fun because the gameplay with the identical goals and the lack of dribbling opportunities through a friend or online opponents is hardly changed. Slightly better it is logically, but long-term motivation? No!

Total remains as Conclusion: EA has sought for his circumstances to bring a decent game on the market. However, the weaknesses of open stretchers to clear as that one "Fifa 10" could thoroughly recommend, but the price is too steep. Those who value licenses, may for a time have fun in the game. Everyone else should urgently auditions!
