Positives:
+ Falls really chic on Desgin
+ Is the completeness of the article (it will screws and plugs, as well as for commissioning included the proper size battery). At this price you can expect the same
+ The radio communication between the two of mine ordered detectors worked perfectly
Negatives:
- At such a price you can expect to get reasonable screws supplied. Unfortunately, this is not the case here. The cheapest Phillips screws are ruckzuck "ausgenudelt". I immediately taken from my stash 3x16 mm Torx screws, the fixing is no longer a problem.
- The illustrated instructions is not always meaningful and for lay just in terms of wireless detectors address setting quite a bit unclear. A better allocation of the switch, eg by labeling the detector base (ie in Platik) would be very helpful
- You need to know (I have not found in the manual) that when two connected wireless detectors, a very unpleasant effect occurs when on one of the detector's test button is pressed for use. In this case, a radio signal is sent to the second detector means which ALARM. So the second detector also begins to indicate alarm with a deafening roar. Shutdown can not be that then but. Only when the battery this detector has been removed is everything back in order.
This effect is actually a development error because the detectors could differentiate quite pressed whether the test button (then send a radio signal) or the detector has detected smoke (then radio signal post). Well, there are not only good engineers ;-)
All in all, the detector a unique design, the relatively high price does not justify however.
