It seems to me to be a good development that makes the band here. The now only three members of the collective created with one song a completely new atmosphere. This has already straight as a statement. Where there are thought to whether this atmosphere is not an end in itself (because it operates in this song that totally called rightly intro, much with alienation) or whether there is a foundation of songs waiting for a, the first just a little in Balance to be brought. In song Two then, Arrival In Nara, first comes the bear, what this band is loved by so many: honesty and closeness. Where it already slightly strange to come off that at this point, such a breakdown is observed, ie: first comes a song that, judging by the recent creation after, unusual sounds, with its arrangement seems almost pompous, and trippy and then also follows already the first Interlude (but that is not so, but is intended as a further introduction or arrival after the title); namely a total repossessed pace and a sound that can be described, not least through the initial use of the piano's probably best "clear". And so it seems in fact only with song three, Nara, the wondrously out peels of two, to be real the case that one can speak of a right song for the first time on this record. And this song has it truly in itself (and the talks will also most likely hypothesis for the "Foundation"). His poetry is at its best, what you can get to listen to new songs currently good. A piece that the setlists of the group will say in the next few years for sure. The play resonates tremendously by making it an excellent Eingroover, the appetite for more. In addition, these sawing violin is an exciting new element and also the piano adapts repeated well into a structure. Should it continue in the style of this said third song, I would be happy indeed.

Four song, Every Other freckle, is the first, is close to the style of upliftigeren things predecessor An Awesome Wave, and know of a surety to bless with Trade Marks, the glad because: baffling drumming and oblique, yet angelic vocals. And song five, Left Handsfree is, quite evidently, a good old friend, a real old-J-song. Yet somehow this part is also pretty straightforward. A bit too clearly for my taste, although there is a rather oblique passage in it occurs. Anyway, it's not a piece, which one can seriously attach the label Indie. Somehow stood there probably thought Godfather "for Ami stations do you need a song that sounds like your previous!" And so it is only logical that it was this number, the Alt-J recently brought in David Letterman performed. Six song, the thing with the flutes, seems to me quite similar, namely a bit like a foreign body. The part comes out of the blue, at least it seems so. But hey, this is probably radio number and would run counter to the case also throughout gagig. Especially if the presenter could go through ...

Song Seven, Choice Kingdom [Note: Amazon's tracklisting is defective in the field recordings, because the flute part completely falls untern carpet there] unfortunately makes no prisoners of me, a little saftlos the piece seems to me. Although the feeling that transports took that song itself is quite pleasant (a somehow geartetes sacred element), but when considering This Is All Yours as a complete work, I notice no later than at this point that I bit the attention and the thread lose, so that certain something begin to miss what lies between things and drags me. There are plenty gathered much quiet passages on this disc. While there are the on songs that are mostly not so bad, but there is none among them that I was able to take three and four really been in a similar way to the pieces. Something bland so the negative attribute of a small intermediate upshots.

The number eight, Hunger Of The Pine, this sample thing of which I have already read, and it broke at the first hearing quite tough on me in, even though the song has a not despising deepness factor itself. This piece made myself so seen any easier on my search for the story. Yes indeed, it reached strangeness around. But, thank God, has evaporated over the next Hördurchgänge this impression quickly.

Next in the text. Song Nine, hot Foothills, has again this immensely harmonic what Alt-J quite significantly distinguished. But fundamentally it's a bit too lax me what time I get to hear from them. The whistle on this piece had initially even as the manifestation of a lack of ideas. But luckily Also this special impression has laid relatively quickly. The number is indeed throttled right, in fact, which in itself is not necessarily a criticism capable point, but on the contrary even is very sympathetic and even belongs to a not inconsiderable part of the success story of the band. Also come here another time new voices in the form of guest vocalists to use and probably will one day even times more convincing act beautiful music is finally all. Only: someone like me, who is excited permanently on attractions and has secretly targeted a wilder development, can there really ever resist properly, faced in the majority with sachterem than the hoped schmissigerem material to see. In contrast, it can be said that not everyone will instantly primer for a given disc. However, the main thing is always to be ready to take on the journey can be at what the trust I have placed in the band, because was not that hard. The fact that expectations with a delivered result to bring not always immediately in accordance, is anyway a trivial knowledge. But when it times late succeeds, it may even result in surprisingly great listening experiences lead as I could recently find it in a row. Anyway, no one should judge by only one run. No favors you do so yourself.

Song Ten, The Gospel Of John Hurt has, with respect to turn a lot to offer fulfillment of expectations. Is that what I know and have searched here. Somehow I hear an echo out of Cyrus number. Thereby making it not only, but ultimately the whole album clearly round. And at the end occurring here short xylophone sprinklings is just charming, unlike # 6. Even number eleven, Pusher, with what may come up, which I already know and appreciate, namely to carry sensations in inimitable Alt-J-lyric-way. Get repeated very modest, but I speak this Piece by his openness this time very directly and is unquestionably extremely intimate. Power so all in all very good sense, what I got to listen to this point. The ingredients are all there anyway. And I repeat: It's finally all still totally new and must, in order to arrive at a final verdict can, first of all act on a.

The Twelve, Blood Flood Pt. II, I also like at the first attempt. Piano and winds are Alt-J suited to face. By threatening to be now and then swallowed by himself, but then yet again a piece, and soon a little farther stretched upward, this song is built on powerful and can even be regarded as secret Centerpiece. The voltage generated, not least generated through those nasty sounds is very beneficial in any case, keeping the level of attention on my part on the upper floors. Thirteen song, Leaving Nara, draws attention to itself with other electronic tricks here in the form of beat programming. This is quite fitting and even the vocals are edifying in tradition. He dwells in the highest spheres, set to music, a desire as only music can.

And then that's it, aside from the hidden track times. My first run, score 3-4. Because of the music in the General and their sufficiently unterstellbaren increase capacity over time is rounded up.

> Edit: There must be more than a four now. More passes, and in particular the "questionable" Tracks fell from considerably more comfortable. Even Left Handsfree acts now not more so out of place as still in its infancy. Rather, it is now the proverbial Alt-J-song I am now grateful to be found here. Yes, the whole structure of this disk I consider, counting everything, in the meantime, for rock solid. So all one note further upwards. Because of the absolute authenticity of this music and its connectivity with people who hardly can start something with music section, this Level upgrade should be loose justified.
