Meanwhile, I have completely abandoned that smile, I am now - in addition to the DSLR - the proud owner of the G6 (!).
I have done with the objective 14-42er Kit My first photos. There was then for the first time this WOW effect, because so beautiful photos I would not have expected the system. The lens also does not give the impression allerwertigsten because it weighs almost nothing and also has a plastic mount. But the values of the small lens are hidden inside them. Beautiful, clear photos with pleasing colors. I was and am thrilled.
The acid test I have the G6 then subjected, as I allowed her the Sigma 30 mm lens. For these fixed focal length should provide sensor and electronics of the G6 to the test. Expected I have beautiful photos, but what I got is a lot more: Super sharp images that show details that I had not expected. I dandelions photographed and suddenly all these fibers Pusteblumen-tip on the monitor. And that goes not only at close range like this.
After these experiences, I really take my hat off to the G6. The little camera has now reached such a high quality that makes me, again and again to let my DSLR a closet and go out with the small but important equipment. I take it gladly and with possible anyway, for it is indeed not a burden. Who they once held in his hand, comes from the DSLR-bearing, is their confidence not much, but should be convinced of the positive reviews and what I am writing here.
For the outstanding quality (up to about ISO 1600) is a truly compelling features. Here I really have a choice: I as Fotoamateur wants to hire everything by hand or I leave the camera fully automatic creation of my images. Both generated class photos. If I take the large display or the viewfinder? Both are more than useful, the foldable display I had with my DSLR like!
All in all I will surely expand this system in the future. And the next Photokina is determined. This fall? Then I'll go to the Panasonic booth times. But my smile has this time a very different meaning ...
In summary: Buy, here you do everything right :-)
