To be clear, this suite is much worse Anno Dracula. The plot is composed of too few characters to be interesting, the actions of the protagonists are very repetutives and found only rarely small historical anecdotes and real or fictional characters who were the flavor of the 1st volume. In addition, the first world war is far less appropriate for these Gothic tales, foggy London 1888 sy lent obviously much better. It s here to follow the lives of two battalions airmen (allies of one side, dracula soldiers on the other) in each waiting for the enemy strikes, the other preparing it. And ca hand, not much. Unfortunately the new characters are far from having the necessary charisma. If beauregard is always, there are no charisma that on too few occasions, kate reed is almost useless al history, the main character Edwin Winthrop, newcomer DIOGEn's club (whose shadow hanging as limply) is far from being the height, and Dracula is hardly in this sequel, the aviator manfred von Richthofen (legendary German aviator nicknamed the Red Baron during the war 14-18) being at the center of the novel.
In short, if the first was a gem, this one holds only on the commitment that we already had for the characters (which it does not do justice yet), reading avere s therefore quite flat and uninspiring. A disappointment.
