The order came fix and I have inserted my two original Nikon batteries with the accompanying description. As you might expect, the Assembly worked quite well and the batteries were easily recognized. Since I shoot often at events, I have always been annoyed by a slow becoming empty battery. After a few more hours inserts'm really glad to have me do not worry about the battery life. With 2 fully charged batteries it arrived for an extensive session all times.
Regarding the handling, I am also satisfied, since the camera is now better in the hand. Since the D5100 factory unfortunately has no contacts for a vertical shutter release, is a small Käbelchen, but what I basically never insets. I have the protruding cable always bothersome. A flaw for which the Meike Battery Grip but nothing can naturally. The reprimand is towards NIKON !!!!
However, I forgive for the handle "only" 4 stars because I noticed one thing that I consider as verbesserunsgwürdig. On the body of the D5100, the points are rubberized, to which the camera with the right hand is held. The battery grip now represents an increase of grip surface, so that larger hands can hold the camera comfortably in the hand. However, it has failed in the Meike Battery Grip at a particular location to install a rubber coating, so that the little finger can not slip when gripping. At the place where the little finger would, unfortunately, is only the "normal" slippery plastic.
