Customer Review

City Of Hereos is the second album that the singer Michael Kiske to sing and his colleague Amanda Somerville. As Helloween fan of the first hour, my expectations always increases when standing on a record cover of name Kiske.

With Helloween City of Heroes has little or nothing in common, but that was not the expectation, because already on the first album of this collaboration it was good to hear melodic metal, which has been perfectly sung. This does not apply to City of Heroes.

The song material was written by Frontiers house and yard composer Magnus Karlsson, sometimes I wonder where the Swede intends to find all the song ideas for its numerous projects.

Kiske / Somerville start with City Of Heroes furiously in the album! A similar blast is Rising Up and become in Breaking Up deliver the two singers probably the best performance from this album. Ever have to say that the voice of Kiske and Somerville perfect match.
Highly cheesy songs like After The Night Is Over detract from the positive overall picture fortunately little.

City of Heroes is catchy metal fare, which is extremely well sung and provides great entertainment value!
