The USB3 specification (4.8 Gbit = theor. 600Mbyte / s) of the MobileLite G4 is therefore only a logical extension of the high-speed data transmission and data transfer to PC / Notebook, so that there is no "bottleneck" should arise. When Transferring growing digital files (movies, photos, music, etc.) to quickly interface technology is almost indispensable today. In practice, then probably still values of about a maximum of 300 Mbyte to be usable. It's so easy or so a time savings!
Long story short: Here are some real data from the field:
It can be used in parallel with both card slots, this is not always self-evident. So copying between cards is possible without detours!
Here are the SD card clearly above (SD 7.5 mm, micro SD 1mm).
There is no LED indicating the data transfer and the G4 is relatively wide (3,3cm), collides with me with the USB flash drive in the neighboring slot!
The speeds are with me on a USB 3.0 port as follows:
SDHC1 = 13 MB / s write (map type Sandisk Ultra 30MB / s ")
SDHC1 = 37 MB / s read (map type Sandisk Ultra 30MB / s ")
MicroSDHC1 = 10MB / s write (map type Sandisk Ultra ")
MicroSDHC1 = 37MB / s Read (map type Sandisk Ultra ")
Copying between two cards is about 10 MB / s.
Thus, the G4 still met with me the minimum standard of UHS1 standards. This is quite ok, but would expect a little more in-SDHC1 Sandisk (30MB / s) ...
The G4 is pretty neat warm!
Compatible is the G4 with Windows® 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 8 RT, Windows 7 (SP1), Windows Vista® (SP1, SP2), Mac OS X v.10.6.x +, Linux + v.2.6.x. The warranty for the MobileLite G4 runs over a two year warranty.
Price / performance 3-3.5 star - not bad to quite ok. Does its work, but also has little detail defects.
