Miserable centers, non-round sound, excessive comfort

The SHP 8500 has a very chic looking case, provoking and the term "HiFi" on the package some expectations. I had a few days before the SHP 2700 bought at Amazon, which really surprised me sonically, although I also possess a significantly more expensive model from another manufacturer. Since the SHP 8500 is more expensive than the SHP 2700, I have "more" expected as the SHP 2700th

The total disappointment followed: The SHP 8500 sounds compared to SHP in 2700 and as the centers had been removed. Some songs (eg Shakira - Waka Waka) clink the centers. Bass has a presence, heights are available, but the sound is anything but round. Besides, I always had with this model feel that the left earphone was a little louder than the right. The SHP 2700 sounds in comparison, much fuller and rounder, there is no clash and it costs less! Last of comfort when SHP 2700 is even better.

Conclusion: It does not always make sense to take the better model of a manufacturer.
