I bought this for my Polar foot pod subsequently V800. Here I have already written a detailed review. Here is a summary:
Today, the fun with the foot pod is definitively adopted me gone. Unfortunately it works not with me. I now have occupied me for a long time with the subject calibration but the values have nothing to do with reality. I sat in the portal once to Automatic or the calibration factor using a known distance itself determine. When automatically I expect this to factor in each run adjusts accordingly based the GPS data received by the clock and this was received at optimum reception. This does not determine the clock, I think it simply corresponds to only the factor 1. :-( On the track I had a very good feeling with the fact that the value is accurate, but my normal running route is paved road. From this distance I then repeatedly attempts to determine a factor, since I know the length very precisely the formula:.. New calibration factor = current calibration factor * actual distance / distance Currently displayed for a 11.3 km route shows me the clock to 8.9 km at a factor of 0.922.
I'm going to keep the foot pod and make my tests later time on a treadmill or possibly I'll calibrate times for a career. But at the moment I rely rather on the GPS values, these are simple much more accurate. Or beautiful it is when the pace to be determined despite running sensor based GPS values would.
