Today I get my monopod and am thrilled. I can say that I have found no scent, so described by some first time. Hab screwed the tripod right on my EOS 1000D with 18-270mm lens and must say I am thrilled. I had first in mind the height (171 cm) too small for me (183 cm), but on the contrary it is incl. Camera even high so I have to adjust the height. Since I am a sports photographer and at telephoto sometimes had shaky shots, I've just bought an aluminum monopod, but that was too short, and something of which I have banished the unstable part after only one use. A tripod of Manfroto was too expensive for me and so I ordered this stand me and I am as I said previously enthusiastic and this weekend it will have to pass the first acid test, because then I'm at the game in Cologne. I would recommend it at first sight and it is a good and cheap alternative to an expensive monopod.
