My experience after 12 hours:
Sometimes it will sometimes not, time will I remove the DVD and then it's either not on or it closes immediately.

Earlier it was not recognized by Windows, no longer. This error is also known Asus and there is even an automatic MS FIX, which does not work with me. If the support of Asus does not help, I will send the thing back. I've never had such problems with a DVD drive.

Why won 2 star: If it then runs fine, but if it does quieter than others is questionable.
