What becomes immediately apparent that this activated carbon filter is surprisingly heavy and is apparently actually literally filled with activated carbon.
For installation in the deduction had to two plastic "wing nuts" be installed, which then (as in the picture at the bottom can be seen) hold the charcoal filter in place (above he is suspended).
Prior to installation you should still attach the included foam strip so that the edge of the activated carbon filter rests flush and thus no air on the filter passes (although the percentage is likely to be low well ...).
Said done, the carbon filter folds at a location somewhat, because the trigger housing itself is at a point in the slope.
To make a long story short: When I fixed the carbon filter, tore the white plastic at one point a light.
Not so that the filter would no longer be used, but at the right high price, I expect a little more actually build quality.
I can say little because I am not entirely convinced of the function of the hood, but I write for the hood on the usefulness of the filter.
-Fazit-
From my perspective, the price of these (to change every year according to the manufacturer) filter is a little high. Although the incorporation principle sounds simple, but in practice in my opinion more complex than necessary (I built it on, as the hood was not installed and found it a bit unwieldy; headfirst I imagine a change a little awkward in front ... )
