The joystick is strictly identical to that provided with the Xbox One, with the exception of batteries (of course) replaced with a 3V battery, 2400 mAh, 4.2 WH.
The battery once in place does not exceed at all and is much lighter than Duracell AA 8 Pack of Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries 2400 mAh I had bought. Side autonomy it will take me time to judge, since the XBox One are deemed very economical battery.
The charging cable is a standard USB cable, type A on one side, and the other type of micro (such as smartphones). The micro USB connector includes an LED. It lights green when the handle is charging, then white when the handle is recharged.
DO NOT allow the cable to recharge a rechargeable handle with batteries inside, although he turns the knob wired controller.
It can also recharge a smartphone, like any micro-USB cable. In the latter case, the LED does not light.
Finally the cable is VERY well hung on the handle, and not moving an inch, thanks to small teeth on the connector.
For PC gamers: Microsoft promises compatibility with joysticks for 2014. For the time if you connect the controller to a Windows PC will tell you it can not find drivers.
