Had I Nickelback far seen rather as a "teen band" with one or two good songs per CD, I have to change my judgment no later than with "all the right reasons". The current Silberling has become a tired produced, fat piece of rock, making me with its mix of Metallica compatible hardness (of course, to "load" periods) and Def Leppard / Bon Jovi hooklines absolutely thrilled. The only drawback for me is the 4.5-songs (too) high proportion ballads. However, since the softer songs are equipped with choruses for eternity and give the rest of the songs without failures on the gas and super (!!!) are produced, I give 4 stars with tendency to 5 stars. But first things first: 1. Follow You Home: furztrockener, groovy hard rock with great chorus and the right dose hardness. Singer Chad Kroeger recalls not only in this song something to James Hetfield and the middle part with Billy Gibbons (ZZ TOP) liner is the hammer. Super! 10/10 2. Fight for All the Wrong Reasons: again Hard Rock in a class with super vocals, groovy drums and bass (at all the rhythm work on the entire CD is outstanding and significantly better than the previous works, which is probably the drummer change). The central part, where it is faster is also ne force. Ever Nickelback understand how to refine each song by class details, both in terms of arrangements and instrumental icing. Also 10/10 3. Photographer: The first ballad that everyone knows well. Def Leppard can not only salute from the title. The song is very good and would easily a highlight on every Bon Jovi, Def Leppard or Bryan Adams album. 8/10 4. Animals Nickelback with an uptempo song and a healthy hardness. Great drum / bass work from such "Schmitz Cat" goes. 10/10 5. Savin me: More ballad, which I think is even more potential than single "Photograph". Super Song! 10/10 6. Far Away: Well, again ne ballad and in my opinion more 0815 fabric. Well-produced, healthy balance. 7/10 7. Next contestant: good text, again let Def Leppard greet, but not the ballad side, but rather Abgehrock. Super Song class, sang. 9/10 8. Side of a Bullet: both of her production, as well as the lush reef greet here Pantera. Certainly a salute to Dimebag Darrel (RIP), which is also dedicated to the CD and the finished the song with a great solo (if you like that, should be "Saturday is alright for fighting" from "The Long Road" ltd. Edition listen). Singing is here clearly in the direction of Metallica. Super Song, Banger before the Lord. 10/10 9. If Everyone Cared: Yawn. Ballad that has no recognition for me, well. The failure of the CD 5/10 10. Rockstar: beautiful text, I speak from the heart ;-) Super ballad with nice groove. Class! 9/10 Overall, this CD is worth for every hard rock fan. Access. No better way to this kind of music does not produce and play and most importantly, the songs also agree. Thumbs up for Nickelback.
