More than just a mp4 player.

Current owner of a Galaxy S3, I got used to reading music in FLAC format (> 320bps) via bluetooth 3.0, to consult my mail and news via Flipboard. It even works the night I fell asleep to music (with automatic stop of the music).
Suffice to say that I use very often. Even too often for my taste. That's why I started looking for an mp4 player type device that will serve me in the evening without me ogle S3. It was not won especially at that moment I did not know that there are exactly as multimedia devices running an Android smartphone!

So I leaned on many traditional mp4 players that were never quite complete for my taste. Some did not have Bluetooth, others did not read the FLAC format, no automatic stop of the music, no expandable memory, screen too small, low autonomy, too expensive for not much, archaic interface, etc. . short, I was not at all satisfied. Until finally fall on the Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 that met my expectations listed above!

"Take a Samsung galaxy, remove him the opportunity to call and send text messages, and you are with a full multimedia device that will be able to meet the needs of all." This is exactly what came to mind when I had this unit between hand. While having the luxury to offer other leisure as the email consultation, news, play the latest Play Store. And all this with the same account.
He lacked indeed the automatic shutdown of the music. Never mind, so I went for a walk on the Play Store to find there a large number of applications that can solve this problem, I downloaded this one and that's it. Problem solved!

It is nice to hold in hands, it is all plastic but the finish is top-level. It has a Micro SD card slot up to 32GB. The battery is replaceable cheaply. The camera is average but at least there is one. And a second front! The screen resolution is better than ... a mp4 player but not as much as a mid-range smartphone. If you want a machine that can do all that in a lot better, it will take a 4x LG, Samsung GS2 or GS3 ... or Iphone 4S / 5 but then, no memory slot or removable battery! See for yourself ...

The music, the main reason when looking for a mp3 / mp4 player:
The reader is identical to the one I had on my Wave 2 and a little less evolved than the S3. This is probably one of the best mp3 player smartphone (See DigitalVersus for Wave 2 and S3) But it is also the most "sober" drive. One likes or dislikes. It will accept any format without flinching and with good fluidity.
Compared to S3 of the drive, I saw no difference in quality.
Video playback is the same basis, simple and effective.

In the end, what to say except that this is not a smartphone very nearly. And it is more than just a mp4 player ... We do not know what put radius. However, by re-reading well, it would have more similarities with a touch pad with a smartphone !!!

I for one am delighted.
