Of course, the album sounds quite different and is also completely different structure than the first, produced by Bohlen album. Was there on the first album quite a few cover versions, plus a handful of Bohlen ballads and two rock songs, the second album comes much more homogeneous, which does not mean that it is not varied. The styles change perk her dress, as there is radio, dance, rock, Balkan beats, reggae, everything your heart beghert. Contrary to all fears Daniele voice was not "ironed", but comes to wonderful effect.
My personal favorite is "Why Do I Do" - a very groovy track with super rhythm and a hammer moderate Hook.
More Playing tips are:
Love & Pain
Overdrive
Bulletproof
Perfect Misfit
Somebody To Love
Easy To Love
And of course, Hold On My Heart
Also nice to hear the many different facets that shows Daniele for me. From almost childlike "Hold On My Heart", it reaches over to the pithy "Love & Pain".
Only the cover I find not so well chosen, especially since the photos are really nice in the booklet. But rather as if the album would have nothing to offer content ;-)
I can only recommend the CD!
