I can rightly claim that I am an experienced smartphone users have some equipment in both the entry-level, middle and high-end class by. The many positive reviews of the Motorola Moto E left me no choice ... order and test -D
The Moto E is an entry-level device, but does not have to hide behind the middle class or even ashamed. On The Contrary! For 119 euros you get here plenty of smartphone, any smears can get over more than easy considering the price!
Compared to entry-level devices from other well-known companies is purely such as Samsung and its Galaxy S3 Mini models, Ace 3 etc ... is the Motorola this, despite a niedrigereren price, far superior !!
I had the last Ace 3 (approximately 149 euros) in the hands, turned and after 1-2 hours test immediately packed - most frustrated mind you! Mieses display, no notification LED, no sensor for automatic display brightness, Softwareruckler, not Gorilla Glass, outdated software, cheap-sounding case, too much bloat-ware etc etc ....!
The Motorola is not re-wrapped it like it very much. It offers a bright, konstrastreiches display with sufficiently sharp contours (no pixel recognized such as the Ace 3), a notification LED, a sensor for automatic display brightness control (outstandingly smooth transitions !!!), a quick and rucklerfreie software, Android 4.4 .2 update guarantee, great workmanship (no creaking, very robust. good weight, keys have a great pressure point), in contrast to the Moto G expandable by SD card, a relatively large display with 4.3 inches, good wireless / GPS receiver, etc ..! Just great, I have nothing, absolutely nothing to complain about considering the price!
If you let the price gone, displeased me the following points:
- Lack of LED flash
- Camera shoots only moderate images, even in daylight unsatisfactory
- Speaker does not tolerate heights .. at loud sounds, he is overwhelmed, rattles and creaks. Two, three steps lower the volume and everything is ok.
- The point: Missing front camera I do not care .. I never used anyway. For one or the other but that could be a knock-out criterion.
So all in all ..: In the price range 119 Euro, no other Smarthone a renowned manufacturer to keep up! On the contrary, more expensive devices are in the overall impression even worse than the Moto E! Anyone who wants to buy a mobile phone in this price range, comes at the Moto E simply can not pass !! Strong buy recommendation !!

Addendum of 27/06/2014:
What is now even noticed me and moved me to a star by far 5 stars withdraw ...: The camera does not have autofocus !! That is, the object must be in an optimum distance, so it can be photographed sharply. If you are too close to it is all blurry. A fact that makes the anyway lousy camera without LED light bad around corners. Can they also be gone be honest .. !!

PS: It's a shame that Google has so quickly separated from Motorola. With the Moto models Motorola was on the right track. Had this concept further down (good quality at a fair price), Motorola had soon written back in the black! The Motorola devices have always been of high quality and also a little weird, have lifted from the pabulum. Only the update and company policy was lacking and Motorola has finally broken his neck .. what's just very very bad! I will greatly miss Motorola and doubt that Lenovo, the sheet can still apply. Google could have done it, however ....!
