The control panel includes a few buttons illustrated by icons and two LCDs backlit in blue, Mon for the duration, the other for the temperature. In lexemplaire that i received, a tiny insect is trapped under the glass of a displays. This na not affect the operation, but it is not very clean
It is necessary to refer to the documentation to understand how the device, but it's actually quite simple: the length of a side is selected, the temperature of the other, the type of cooking with the three buttons below, and is started the bottom one. The screens will flash until the requested temperature (65 to 200 ° C) is not reached, and the device goes to sleep when the time is up.
The displays BE deserved a little inclined upwards: in the state, we must look to correctly read the signs.
The cooking method "Jig" does not quite my convinced documentation recommends not lift the lid if possible, but then the only way to stir the contents is to lift the dish (with two potholders to avoid burns because the walls of the pot are hot) and shake. It is better for this type of cooking ignore the recommendation and simply lift the lid and go stir with a wooden spatula. My cooking seemed a little long, but the food was properly browned. Sil are too juice or fat, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to drip lexcédent. Not worth a good old stove for this use, therefore (and in my humble opinion).
In "simmer", one can choose between 4 temperatures, in the order: High, Low, Simmer and Warm. This is to say: High, Low, Simmer and Keeps warm. The difference between the last three are not obvious, the cooked dautant High position is already very slowly (one full hour of cooking was still insufficient to 500g. Stuffed "flat", this is to say a layer of strips of pepper, sausage and another layer of pepper, something that is normally cooked in the oven in 45 minutes. This is therefore likely to be reserved for really slow cooking.
Rest steaming where the announced time are almost identical to those dune pressure cooker (20 minutes for 1kg of potatoes). A small grid acts as a support and not a basket, making quon will not steam the small foods such as chickpeas, navy beans, etc. (Even green beans should be carefully arranged crosswise).
Note that the record is clear, written in several languages including French, and contains no recipe.
