The material of the shell outside is very soft and pleasant interior has also valent and used soft material. The clamping edges of the envelope keep the iPad very securely in place, even if one of the little "unstable / wobbly" lid occasionally shake the whole tablet out of hand. The set-up positions are good and the possibility of the tablet with the Velcro strap on items or the like to fix broaden the scope of the cover very much!
