My first and last ... Epson

One thing first: The scanner of the device is top and also the only reason I forgive at all 2 star and not just one. We come to the printer: The printer is - to put it kindly - absolutely "user-unfriendly".

- The cartridges are empty after only a few pages, if you do not use the printer regularly. Apparently, they dry out very quickly.

- My machine prints itself with brand new cartridges and freshly cleaned nozzle only images with clearly visible stripes.

- One of the 4 cartridges empty strike the entire printer. Is, even if for example only the yellow cartridge is empty, it is no longer possible black / white printouts to manufacture. (Biggest gripe !!! What is this?!?!?!?!)

- The Paper Feed developed a certain "life of its own" and if not exactly accurate (unfortunately indefinable) amount of paper in the tray, first happening did nothing and the feeder is minutes under violent noise by attempting employs the paper feed until then finally capitulated in 99% of cases and to remove some of the paper or to give must.

Conclusion: I have no idea whether the above criticisms affect only this printer or any printer manufacturer. But since this is my first Epson printer, my trust in the brand is unfortunately exhausted for now. My next printer is an HP again.
