My hopes have been fulfilled

I never went there to the low price, this put me off more. My MX518 held for many years, and it worked perfectly. With the quality I wanted to make no compromises, but I longed for a long time after a rather the MS Explorer 3.0 corresponding mouse form which rather suits me personally.

As Oscar A4Tech XL-740K the "Sharkoon Fire Glider" mouse has long been on the market, Sharkoon is only importer. The clear painted with flames imprint Fireglider than "Oscar" a red line pattern, this version here is instead equipped with a velvety surface pure black. I liked the touch and visually better.
Small disadvantage: During the first days of use of this velvety-black material looks particularly at the keys from sweaty and blotchy. The rubber sidewall also left three days stank horribly of rubber / plastic.

My fears were: cheap mouse quality, squeaky / rickety keys labbe engined scroll wheel, inexpensive cable.
To the last point, my fears have proved groundless.

+ The Agilent sensor is top notch, great tracking in which even got my proven MX518 problems on a shiny whetted deskpad!
+ The shape of the mouse positioning of the buttons are excellent, nothing is pressed unintentionally and everything is where it should be.
+ The mouse wheel is precise and has just the right hardness. It is rasterized, no "Through Dreher" and no left / right, only forward / back.
+ The package is good, next to a small bag and the weight cartridge and replacement feet are included.
+ DPI switch is very well located, lights very dull and unobtrusive in 3 colors choice. The LED can be switched off.
+ Very good workmanship, nothing rattles, nothing wobbles - but it seems to be delivered fairly fluctuating quality, I had probably lucky.
+ The mouse saves all the settings onboard, the supplied macro manager is fantastic: you can reassign all the buttons, and then works also guaranteed in every game / application - everything comes everything directly from the mouse, not a driver.
+ You can even write complex macros for each button.
+ The weight cartridge sits wobble-and noise-free, even without the mouse does not rattle.

- The cable is not as smooth as with Logitech mice, let alone as the top models. It is made quite cheap and had to manually straightened (!) Are.
- The mouse feet for no particularly outstanding material, but still very good glide.

Remarks: The mouse is like almost all modern mice quite large, unlike the MX mice from Logitech you simply put the Fireglider on my butt and pushes, directs quasi with your fingers on the keys. When MX 5xx series are accessed rather from above, which one makes is a matter of taste. I always preferred the shape of the MS Explorer 3.0, and this mouse is similar to yours. I find the mouse to lift not quite as good, the sensor will track also quite long. For low-sense gamers it is not as well suited.

Conclusion: A real alternative to Logitech G500 and Roccat Kone, not so lapprig and rickety as the Razer mice. The shape is more favorable Roccat Kone, without their notoriously break endangered mouse wheel.
