Animal Crossing New Leaf is a really great successor. A game to relax and unwind. Graphically makes the game on the big screen really her something. With the game you will have a few hundred hours of gameplay. I would recommend the game, loves to play any of the previous Sims liked or simulations.
The game is already installed and eShop visit was automatically linked to my Nintendo Account at the first Nintendo.
A little fear I had when transferring data from my old 3DS on the new 3DS XL. There have been preserved almost all data: Downdloadgames were including memory status and cache status, letters, friends, and the Miis were also transferred.. Only photos and settings (such as Internet connections) have not been transferred. The Animal Crossing game I had to after the transfer again download from the store. Before downloading the game Animal Crossing, I have data on the SD card on the PC "exchanged". The old 3DS only had a 2GB Memory Card. (Animal Crossing is only 6336 blocks in size. A 2 GB memory card has about 15,000 blocks.)
The data transfer concept I find from a user perspective deficient:
Download Games can only be played on the 3DS XL (target device).
Data transfer can only be carried out completely (with all software titles).
Only 5 data transfers must be carried out per account.
On my old 3DS I have my Nintendo account set up again there, but I can already purchased Download Games not download again. Download Games are always bound to 1. console. -> At the shop I wanted to change the consoles that falls for download from Games.
The only drawback to the device is the lack of power cord. Of course, attention is drawn to the absence, but at a price of 219, a power supply may be accompanied by very well.
The 3DS XL is often recommended for playing DS games. I can not confirm, because the graphics of old games to me is just too pixellig and then I prefer to take a "small" DS.
I think whoever is looking for a 3DS and who appeals to the design, which is served here well. The device is to play 3DS Games really great and the Animal Crossing Game is quite wonderful.
