My previously smallest Gigabit Switch

Consumption in Watts:
Only power supply plugged: not measurable
Switch on, 0 Cable: approx 0,71W
Switch to, 2 cable: approx 1,64W
Switch on, 3 cable: approx 1,71W
Switch on, 4 cable: about 1,93W
Switch to, 5 cable: approx 2,00W

In the test for each inserted cable was also the appropriate device.
Consumption rose although not when a cable was connected, however, the power turns off.

He is really very small, the smallest I have found so far. However, it is made of metal and I think it fits better visually a dark chamber than in a living room or a modern office.

Also the power supply is very small and has a thin and flexible cable.

From consumption ago the unit will play well with the top.
Only the Level One GSW-0507 so far remains unchallenged on my 1st place.
However, Netgear shows that they were able to save in comparison with the Netgear GS205 about 0.5W.

For Amazon, the device is set as "GS305-100PES Fast Ethernet". This may make it appear there is a 100 Mbit switch. However, this is not so, it is a vollwärtiger Gigabit Switch with 1,000 Mbit.
