But first things first:
Connected my home spot receiver is on a Kenwood amplifier. Power is supplied via a switched outlet on the amplifier. The connection to the audio jacks (RCA, RCA) is of course analogous. In low-level segment and fully opened plant a low rumble can be heard, but this is the analogous compound owed and no substantial impairment is. A device with TOSLINK connection was too expensive.
The Bluetooth connection with several terminals was seamless. The receiver is recognized as "Media Audio" icon with headphones. If the system is switched off and on again, the connection is established with the last terminal within about 3-5 seconds. When Tablet (Android) the music is taken (here the MX player) once again. When mobile phone (also Android) must the connection be manually restored (Player Poweramp). The terminals and players behave differently when you turn off the receiver. Either they stop music and connection or play locally on.
The Bluetooth transmitter can operate another Bluetooth connections to other devices simultaneously, for example, to transfer files, photos to the laptop, etc. The pace is then not very high, but it comes and does not interfere with the music.
If you want to address the recipient by another terminal, which was already once connected, the connection must be triggered manually at the transmitter. This then takes a few seconds.
If you hold the transmitter to the music, you can hear a slight popping. This may be a power-saving mode, I could not stop. This popping is heard even after the launch of the music or - if no music is playing! - For every action in an application. While the music is playing, everything is fine.
The range of Bluetooth is very good in a large living room. Even from neighboring rooms it goes. Only at the apartment end breaks off the connection, but is restored immediately when approaching.
The receiver reports its status via an LED and sounds in the installation. While the music is playing, the LED blinks slowly gaaanz. She is slowly turned on within one second and slowly turned back with a very long pause. Turns off the transmitter Bluetooth, there are two small beeps and the LED flashes in rhythm 4xBlinken-long pause. When you turn, there is a double-beep. In preparing the compound there is a single beep. (This beep is gentle and pleasant.)
The NFC feature I could not test for lack of terminal.
Overall, this is a great device and evaluates an old installation on very. The CD player is finally unnecessary.
